I had a response to my three page complaint letter written by an actual human being, within a week! They successfully summerised all the problems I had brought up and even gave me £75, and promised to credit me some points.
However, they've not quite got there yet. I'm composing my letter back to them but want to clarify a couple of points first.
- I know there is still some debate over where the bonus period starts, so I'm going to keep arguing that one
- They mention giving me a 10,000 bonus. Quite happy to have it, but what on earth is it for?
- They've given me 10x points (base + 9x) on my first three months Amex spend today, with my fourth statement due end of this month. They've calculated it on a total spend basis, but only given me a bonus for the Amex amount - should it not be for MC as well?
