If it's scheduled as a non-stop (look at the online schedule), it is a non-stop. All aircraft, on occasion, are diverted for fuel when there are delays caused by weather, air traffic and other matters. Those, of course, can't be scheduled in advance.

Aircraft fly NS from EWR-DEL and IAD-PEK, so ATL-HNL is a short-haul.
