You would think so - my wife (who is a relatively regular flyer in F) and her mother flew to the US, the other day, and they were the only two pax in the F cabin. There were only two main course meals loaded in total (i.e. one each, but not the same)...so absolutely no choice, other than which of the two of them was having which of the two main courses, or else having a bistro choice! I can only hope that it was an error, although they were quite happy with the two meals loaded and would have picked them anyway, so there was no reason to complain.
