Geo-Tagged photos --> Google Earth file

Hi everyone,

I just thought i'd let you all know about a project i'm working on that creates a google earth file with placemarks and pop-ups of your geo-tagged photos. The project is currently hosted on Kickstarter, and I'm curious to get your feedback on what other options you'd like to see added. You can check it out here:

I tried a bunch of different options for ways to generate Google Earth files that show the location of where my geo-tagged iphone photos were shot. Basically I was looking for a system that would automatically generate the placemark icons as well as a pop-up window that gave the location info and showed a small version of my image and could operate on folders full of hundreds of images without a problem.

I got pretty fed up with Picasa being slow and tending to crash, and a lot of the other options were plug-ins to other programs. Any feedback you have could be extremely helpful, I built the original prototype for a very specific task and only recently decided to expand upon it.

I set up a few google earth files so you can see what I'm talking about as far as the google earth output files, they're available here:

Anyway, let me know what you think, I'd like to make this project as useful as possible.

Thanks!
