Hello all,

Recently flew LHR-JED and was not impressed with the quality of the Arabic language announcements. All the announcements were delivered by one of the CAI-based crew and were unintelligible. The CC member spoke so quickly you could barely make out the words.

Surely it is more embarrassing to have such poor announcements in a foreign language than it is to abandon them (unless the CC speak the respective foreign language to a reasonable standard).

Is this something that BA should know about?

I regularly write compliments to ba.com/welldone, however the crew in WTP on this flight left much to be desired. I asked for a cup of tea, which never appeared. One crew member in particular was quite abrupt and had an attitude throughout the flight. He even seemed irritated when I went down to the galley to ask for a glass of water. I do know that this is not representative of the wonderful crew that I have come across in the last few years.

They also "ran out" of meal choices by the time they reached the 2nd row of the cabin, which had 15 vacant seats.
