I will 'play' with StarAlliance rules and UA this coming Sunday.

in the morning we fly (upgraded) First from MEX to SFO and have access to UA's very nice First Class lounge In MEX - late in the evening (after our SFO get-together and the Beach Blanket Babylon show) we go on with UA SFO to Sydney in paid business but I will 'force' entrance to the international UA first class lounge in SFO having the printed StarAlliance-rules ready which allow international First Class same day passengers the First Class lounges for the whole trip of that day ... (only Canada-US trips are exempted form that rule, Mexico is valid )
