I think BA are just making these decisions now. I suspect if the DUB route lasts into Winter, it will only be as a slot sitting exercise until BA judge the time is right to add more long haul routes and has the aircraft to do so (not that the DUB slots will necessarily be the longhaul slots themselves). If the route goes, I expect, as you suggest, that passengers will be accomodated on EI.
