I notice that its 1 billion Euros savings, just the same amount their profit was down over the past year. Its a shame the company wont stick with the market conditions and wait. I suppose thats the problem with stock market owned companies.

As for BA, It depends on how they view their rivals. CX is a main rival to them on the Asia routes. AA on the US routes. The US routes, for BA are where most of the revenue is. If they keep the loads going then there is no reason to drop it. Competition helps.

However maybe if BA drops some routes, they can get a better service on the others.
