Actually you should ask that with AAdvantage and not CX - ie Asiamiles. You need to provide all information regarding the delayed flight and that CX rebooked you onto SQ.

Do not call CX reservations - what are they gonna do? You're not with Asiamiles - so they have no record of your information.

You do not need an Asiamiles account. Once you open that, the miles (on the original CX flight) will go there and once in there, you will not be able to get it out. You want your miles to go AAdvantage, so why are you opening an account and submitting a web request to credit the miles? Actually knowing AM, they will say that flying on SQ will not get you miles in AM !!
