just got instant approval on AA Citi AMEX and Visa. I haven't applied for a Citi card since 1992 (still have it) but I have recently (2 months ago) gotten the AMEX Plat (50K bonus) and Chase United Visa (50K bonus) and Sapphire prefered (50K) 4 months ago.
