I stay at CY frequently, usually for price and location. I am at one today and using my corporate rate, I DO get breakfast. The only problem for me is that I usually leave the hotel before breakfast so I can make the horrible commute into the D.C. area. That said, breakfast does not bother me much. Most of the free breakfasts I get aren't worth much. Nothing but carbs. I did appreciate the new breakfast sandwiches at the HP I was at yesterday though.
