Was just about to ask a question re this - as you say flights are displayed with advantage points but is there a way to redeem avios for the flights on the AA website? On Friday I was searching for AA award flights on ba.com (ORD to SAN in August) and even though we have some flexibility nothing is available at all around the dates we need the flights however the AA site shows milesaaver availability which I thought were the ones that are redeemable with Avios? Phoned BA customer service but they say that AA only give them a certain number of award seats for BA customers and that they don't have any availability. Does this sound right? Spoke to AA and they had no clue and the customer service rep I spoke to didn't even know what avios are.....
