FYI, a T fare YOW-YYZ return will cost you almost the same a/i today!

The issue is the taxes and airport surcharges. Canadians pay much higher taxes and they are built into the price of the ticket.

As for JB, I fly them from SYR-JFK for $120 US a/i. YOW-LGA is a minimum $300, & the difference is all taxes.
