I know some carriers have low Y class buckets that don't earn, but I don't think BA or AA have any buckets that earn 0% other than award tickets. So this sounds like some sort of scam where a company pays someone to use their miles. I'm not sure how legal it is, but consult someone with more intimate knowledge of FF program rules. If you run afoul of them you can end up screwing yourself.
