It always tracks pretty much spot on to the spot rate of the day when withdrawing cash from it (no withdrawal fee unless the ATM itself has one) or purchasing. It's commonly used by loading up money onto it, then withdrawing from an ATM when overseas so I'd be interested to see what the rates you see on your Post Office card are like as well as if you can do the cash loading for easy ATM withdrawals?
