Sadly, reservations are getting a number of things wrong lately and causing us a lot of problems at the airport.

Ski's and boots are definitely not counted as one and have to be charged accordingly. Perhaps you got the money back as this was what was, wrongly, promised to you.

As for choosing another airline, that's entirely your choice.
