I was in Y, all other airlines US bound count ski's and boots as one. I called BA the day before flying and they told me that they were counted as one. However, getting to the airport thats not the case. And on calling BA when getting back the person on the phone also told me skis and boots counted as one, hence the refund.

My next travels I will avoid BA totally. Maybe they should relook at the rules and get back in line with other carriers
