You have also to keep in mind that your arrival at 2E from DTW is not guaranteed. You can also arrive at 2F or 2C. This will be announced when you land during taxi to the gate.
So, as you are not familiar with CDG, just look at your gate on the monitors when you land and follow the signs to your gate in 2F. Your connection is very short (but you know this already
), so do not loose time. With such a short connection, it is possible that you will be awaited by an AF agent in the jetway of your inbound flight to facilitate your transfer.
