You won't be able to get Air Seychelles flights any more, I don't think. The trick was the AF codeshares, but since they dropped CDG service, I'm pretty sure that's gone out the window. Are you looking at starting in Europe or where? Some partners (e.g., MH, VA) have YQ collected regardless of origin. Others (e.g., AF, KL, AZ, KE) depend on the origin. Others (e.g., MU, CZ, VN, UX, OK) seem to have no discernible pattern beyond you're likely to be charged YQ. I think KQ falls into the likely to have YQ collected category regardless of origin, but I have no personal experience.
