PremEx is very correct.

I have seen two cases of fights at RCC Lounges (one at JFK, the other in SFO) of first class ticket holders, both domestic (unfortunately they were on my plane) wondering why they had to pay to use the club.

They were NOT RCC Card holders. One man stormed out. The other's wife told him to cough up the money because they were stuck on a cancelled flight and wanted to rest.

IF you fly an airline a lot and find yourself stuck at the airport I will say it again -- an airline club membership is a worthwhile investment. I thank bruddar wanderlust for showing me the keys to the CLUB!!!

Rudi: I too don't mind bringing someone into the RCC.

rjwxman: well if you find yourself at EWR or one of the NYC airports you are welcome to come into the RCC as my guest.
