Completely incorrect.
I agree with sunrisegirl. To my memory on the last 5 years, I've had two weather related delays when on BA. One was a very late incoming flight, positioning me for next day LH, and already had a hotel. The other was a late incoming, connecting to a far east LH. I was provided with hotel, meal and telephone voucher.
