I threatened to sleep on a couch in the lobby once, but fortunately, did not have to do it. Arrived at our hotel around 3pm to check in. My husband was working and would not be joining us until around 8pm. The reservation was made for four people (including our two children), but we had not put my name on the reservation (my ID has a different last name). We had been up traveling since 3am. I told the front desk clerk I needed a nap. If she was unable to check me into my room for security reasons, I understood, but I would be taking a nap on one of the lobby sofas. She game me a key to my room instead. Ever since I make sure my name is listed on the reservation as well.
