The problem with such long-term predictions is that nobody knows what Platinum status will mean 10 years from now.

Personally I would not burn 40+ dummy nights a year for 10 years at some aloft just for the hell of it because I wouldn't be sure how my circumstances may change during those 10 years or what the SPG program will look like (what does Platinum mean) 10 years from now.
