MPM for US orginating mini-RTW (PHX-HKT/SIN)?
So, I'm currently sitting on ~180K Aeroplan miles.

I'm considering using them for two Mini-RTWs for my parents in J (I can't see getting up to 350K to get reward tickets in F by the time they'd want to travel).

The route would be PHX - LAX/SFO - HKG/NRT/ICN - SIN (stopover) - BKK - HKT (point of turnaround) - BKK - LHR (stopover) - YYZ/IAH/ORD - PHX.

Is this feasible under MPM for the route?

If not, would the following be permissible?

PHX - LAX/SFO - HKG/NRT/ICN - SIN (point of turnaround) - LHR (stopover) - YYZ/IAH/ORD - PHX. I would then buy them revenue tickets SIN-HKT return.

Before I spring for KVS to track award availability and start churning credit cards, I'd like to know if this could work.

Any help would be appreciated.
