Well I can't say that I am surprised BUT......... Contacted Lloyds today as received first statement recently which showed no bonus miles. Having been passed from the usual pillar to post eventually spoke to someone with a bit about them who stated that I may not get the offer as I already had a Lloyds credit card (standard Mastercard). As far as I can remember there was nothing obvious stated that this would exclude me from this offer.
They have also stated that they will have to check that I clicked through from the Avios website as their systems show that I applied via Lloyds TSB website direct. Informed them this was totally incorrect.
Does anyone have the original T&C's re this offer that I could peruse?
I knew this would not end up simple so shouldn't be surprised. I have lodged a complaint and will see what happens.
Any advice re this would be appreciated.
After raising a query at the beginning of this week I received a letter today stating that they are aware of some issues regarding this promotion but rest assured, I will receive my bonus Avios in due course for the whole of the 3 month qualifying period. They were even so kind as to advise of the exact dates that spend would qualify.
I'm pleased that they have acknowledged this issue promptly on this occasion and at least I have it in black and white that any qualifying spend will receive the bonus. I accept that a side issue may be WHEN I receive these Avios but at least I'll get them at some point!
