GA will join SkyTeam about the time that MH joins OW. That should pick up a lot of the slack in the loss of the MH partnership, further enhanced by being able to earn MQM on GA (once in SkyTeam) but not MH. The lack of a TPAC flight at the moment is the downside to GA, but with 10 77W on order (the first being delivered this year) and 21 A330 on order (11 of them just ordered this month), expansion is in the plans for them. I'm happy that GA planes aren't augering into the ground with the same frequency as in years past, but GA still ain't no MH, and while CGK is not a terrible airport, it and its ground staff are not in the same league as KLIA.
HAN is a step down from CGK, so I don't see SE connections through either CGK or HAN as anything to boast about.
I'll drink some more SkyTeam kool aid and squint a lot, and then maybe VN and GA will look more like TG and SQ.
