Thanks for sharing this. Finding the right person to care for my dog is always the first order of business when I'm planning overseas travel. I've even offered my cousin $100/day to look after her (he declined). Fortunately I have one good friend whom she loves dearly and that makes all the difference. I also pay him of course!

If you used the service described, you'd definitely want to ensure in advance that your dog got along with any other dog(s) in residence, and that the caretaker had similar ideas as you wrt things like dogs on couches (as in photo!).
