I am one of those don't touch me, don't touch my hair, don't get too close in my personal space kind of people. I am super happy that I work at a company that has a super strict policy on what is considered appropriate contact because I don't want to be hugged or having the all touchy feely coworkers touching my arm, hugging me or touching my shoulder while we talk or work on projects. I don't like to be called darling, honey, sweetie or any of those terms by others (unless term of endearment by those close to me). I only like to hug or be hugged by only close personal friends, family, romantic interest and not just the general public including co-workers, acquaintances or TSA workers.
I am 100% opt out, I fly too much to go through the nude-o-scope machines every time, there are just too many unknowns. Opting out and knowing I am going to get a pat down/grope makes me physically ill but I grit my teeth, suck in my breath and hold my tongue and attitude as best I can when dealing with TSA. It doesn't mean I have to be silent when I feel like they have crossed the line. I am sure that Bar's tweet had nothing to do with extending her daily fame, even those of us with no fame feel violated.
