Nothing changed in Amadeus, its the restrictions on ticketing offices that has been updated to reflect the new structure.
LO/LH/M&M/AF/KL/BA/etc all use Amadeus as a backbone, but restrict what bookings can be stored under their customer profile. BA must have added BD operated/issued booking agent office IDs to the list of permitted IDs, hence you can pull up and 'store' the bookings under your BAEC profile.
One explanation for the rush of the LH group to restrict access to BD for reward bookings is to deny any BA staff working on the integration to get a peek at load factors of the LH group.
