but what get's me is that you said "Keflavik couldn't cater the flight"- What the Hell?
Keflavik has a large enough airport to be able to crank out a few hundred meals over night. I'm sure for the the right price they would have done it.

how much do you wanna bet AC weighed the cost of a last minute catering job Vs. compensating all the PAX (or maybe they only compensated J?)
