This thread gives a new meaning to the name of this forum.

I am not a teetotaler, but I won't consider drinking alcohol on a plane. Whenever I wake up in the middle of a flight, my mouth always feel dry, and it doesn't matter how much water I drink beforehand. I can't imagine how awful I would feel if I drank booze.

I say stay away from the alcohol if you want to sleep restfully, but that's just me.
