Back in the early 90’s flying to the US for the first time as a noob manager. ( I'd never been out of NZ before that).
My boss booked my itinerary AKL- Milwaukee - 48 hours in Y and 4 connections later I finally arrive.
I recall getting on the DFW-ORD leg on AA. I was assigned row number 64 and walking to the back of the plane, finding that the last row was actually 63
I quickly realized business travel was far from the glamorous affair that it had been made out to be and ensured that from there on, I was in charge of any travel itineraries.
