DOB incorrect on intra-Europe award ticket
Booked an intra-europe award ticket using United miles, all flights are on LH. The DOB was incorrect when the ticket was issued. Since then, I've called United and have corrected the DOB in their systems, but have checked with LH and the change has not carried over into their systems. LH says that UA needs to make the change since they issued the ticket.
The UA agent said that DOB is only needed for flights which route through the US, and that LH won't be using the DOB at any point in time, so I should have no problem checking-in/getting on the flights.
It's still not sitting well with me that LH has the wrong DOB in their systems - do I need to follow-up on this further or is it a non-issue?
