Still remember the excitement when my boss told me that he was taking me to RDU to meet my new client. Flew BOS-RDU on AA, signed up for AAdvantage, saw my first airport lounge, and settled in at the Pickett Suites (Doubletree now, I believe) off I-40.

Remember walking into that suite, such as it was, feeling exhilarated, not believing that someone would pay for me to travel.

25 years and umpteen trips later, I still get a kick out of it.
