My first flight was a business trip for a day's training at Avid. Flying out of Brussels in the morning with Virgin Express to London, and flying back in the evening. I presume it was Heathrow, although I cannot remember exactly. Flew two more times for longer trainings for another company to Heathrow and enjoyed getting expenses reimbursed while staying in the nice Anchor Hotel near the Pinewood studios west of London, and then started flying to YYZ for personal reasons (my wife to be) first with Air Transat out of Amsterdam and later on Etihad and Jet Airways out of Brussels.
What I remember on my first flight is that the cabin smelled horribly when I entered. I got into my seat, the airplane taxied and took off, and then I found out what the foul smell was: the breakfast being served.
