Actually not quite accurate. With the exception of next month (presumably due to last minute aircraft availability issues), both YYZ-FCO and YUL-FCO have offered flights with full XF for several years now. In fact the A330 will operate YYZ-FCO starting in June, while the B777 operated two Summers ago. The non-XF aircraft are pretty much dedicated to DUB, ATH and BCN for S2012.

Bear in mind that while F/Class is wonderful, considerable time will be added to your itinerary if connecting via an additional gateway (eg - YVR-YUL-ZRH-FCO)
