For example, last night there were a couple of planes headed out over the Outer Hebrides and above the North Atlantic, flying in what appeared to be very close formation. Turns out they were both UPS freighters, one out of Standtead, and the other out of somewhere like Frankfurt. It made me wonder if they rendezvous in the skies on purpose every night to accompany each other over the pond???
