I believe you are correct. After extensive communication with GP about this, now I realize they do not have a club lounge. However, when I asked at the front desk if they had a club lounge, they said yes, but that it was closed on weekends.

Regarding the lame excuse, when I called GP they told me that the property doesn't have club lounge. After I mentioned that the hotel had said otherwise, and that I was given the points after a stay at another location-where the club lounge was closed on the weekends-she said that those points (from the other stay) had been awarded incorrectly.
