I used to fly on CRJ-200s 2-4 flights per week. At least 75% would have the first 4-5 rows fairly full, then only 1-2 pax per row behind that. In that situation the FA would ALWAYS come out of the cockpit with a number of pax that needed to move from the first 3 rows to the back 3 rows. That was always an awkward exchange as everyone tried to avoid making eye contact...

I spent the last year on MD88s (all 100% full), but I never heard of them having any weight issues.
