I'm the OP.

I will fly 250,000 BIS miles this year - so a 175k level would still allow me to roll over 75,000 this year alone and assuming rollover continues I'll be DM until 2016 even if I don't fly DL again.

My problem is that because MQMs are so easy to come by and because they roll over I often don't get upgraded. My flight routes have recently changed and I'm now flying more "Hub Heavy" routes - so now it's become an issue. Last week I was 11 of 46 with 2 available - the week before that I was 13 of 37 with 4 available.

This year I'm less than 50% on upgrades.

Delta's marriage to AMEX isn't going away so I've come to accept that MQMs will be earned via credit card spend. Fine, but that coupled with FCM creates fewer upgrades. I was hoping March 1 would change things and things are a bit better but not materially better.

So what do I do? I can status match somewhere (perhaps the grass is greener??), I can pay for F (I'm too cheap for that and with my flight volume surely some airline will reward me with more upgrades), or I can complain on FT.

I've chosen as my first step to complain on FT.
