If you stay the two nights (non-stay nights do not count toward challenges), you will have the Platinum level for the rest of 2012 and all of next year. You would need to stay the nights required in 2013 to renew the status for an additional year.

I am a gold member at the moment, and I will have twenty meetings this year. This will give me 200 night credits (Marriott Rewarding Events). There will be rollover nights in this situation, right?
How long will I then become a Platinum member?
