It's the very thing you think drove them away (the flat earning of effectively $10 WGA for every stay) that was the only thing that made me interested in earning Southwest. If it came back but at an earning structure much more to HH's liking, it's very likely such an earning structure would not be much to my liking.
if it was so bad for Hilton, why can Marriott afford to do it AND keep their predominant rate in similar or better properties cheaper than Hilton??? They are running a great promo right now that is 1800 WN points per stay. If you pull a mattress run (like I always do anyways), you can mop up.(I have collected close to 40K pts ytd!)
