Thanks for the advice. Have done to HKG-HKT route with KA before, but think it's far too expensive! I've got a redemption in J with my BA miles so this works best for us. Also we're stopping off in BKK on the way back to HKG (and then back to LHR), so a non-direct routing weeks best.
