It's the very thing you think drove them away (the flat earning of effectively $10 WGA for every stay) that was the only thing that made me interested in earning Southwest. If it came back but at an earning structure much more to HH's liking, it's very likely such an earning structure would not be much to my liking.
Sorry, should have been more clear. It would certainly depend on the earning structure, but a 50 points/day would certainly NOT bring me back. Most of my stays are 1-2 nights, which (like you) is why I really loved the old structure. Of course, people like me probably contributed to the end of the partnership, but it was certainly good while it lasted! My wife and I have really enjoyed 2+ years with the CP...
