I have not done ACH payment to CC for a long while but if you can pay your AA cards from citi banking side then the same should work for other credit cards. You can certainly do a trial ACH deposit with a few dollars (i.e., make payment from citi bank account online to your CC), wait a few days (or a week) then log in to Chase online to confirm the amount is posted to the specific CC account.

I don't know what CC companies would react if you frequently overpay CC - you might want give them a call to request a higher CC limit.
