I just checked in for a 2 night stay.

I booked on points (20K per night) and was upgraded to a "Marvelous Suite" which is listed online for 2000 GBP per night. The reception was friendly and approachable and offered continental breakfast vs 500 pts vs a local gift option (keychain). I chose the C.B. CB was nice and light.

Some have commented on the awkwardness of the hotel seeming like a club. Which is somewhat true but I am here for leisure not business so I was totally fine with that.

Also some people said there was an issue with the Doormen just standing and watching as you struggle.. I never have this issue because I leave all 4 of my bags in the taxi and have them go grab them as I watch them. There was no issues with this.

Overall this is an excellent property in good repair, with a friendly reception and concierge. The upgrade for platinums was smooth. The amenities were immediately offered.
