We spent Christmas and New Years in Andalucia. Weather was warmer than Germany, sunny, and practically no tourists. We rented a beautiful two-bedroom apartment in Torrox Pueblo (boasts 300+ days of sun a year)for two weeks for 550 GBP.

Beer and wine were about 80 cents a glass and tapas 50 cents each. Prices were higher at the tourist places on the coast.
