Not an award ticker but I bought a ticket last December 2011 for TPE on I class that says its valid for 12 months. Last March I called CX office in Manila to get it rebooked. I was hoping to use it for the last week of October but was informed that I could only use it until September 2012.
Are you departing from MNL, going to TPE, and the TKT is completely unused? This is a different case as, for most revenue TKTs, the validity is calculated based on the date of first sector's departure, and most TKTs have restrictions on dep. date range of the first sector.
