Chase disputes
A few days ago, I disputed a $1000+ charge, and I noticed right away that the dispute shows up on my statement as a negative "charge" with the merchant's name and states Type: Return.
Is this how Chase conditional credits appear, or is it possible that they went ahead and issued me a permanent credit and immediately resolved the dispute in my favor? I'm confused because this is the first time I've had a Chase dispute, and whenever I have Citi and Amex disputes, the online statement will explicitly indicate a conditional credit.
