Until joint contracts are achieved for pilots and flight attendants, there will need to be an operational distinction between sUA and sCO flights. The different flight number ranges make it easy to tell who will be operating which flight.

Plus, it's helpful when trying to find the elusive domestic sCO 757-200 flights!
